Under a massive umbrella of Schroder funds is also a Contour Tech Equity fund, originally managed by David Meyer of Contour Asset Management. The fund invests in developed and emerging markets worldwide by investing directly in holdings or through derivatives.
The strategy combines long and short positions with the use of leverage. Currently, it holds $335 million in assets under management (AUM), and in its latest report from May, disclosed a flat monthly performance. June witnessed an upturn with 4.0% gains for the fund. In contrast, in June, the benchmark S&P 500 Index generated 5.0% gains.
