Facebook gains deliver strong Q4 numbers for Chase Coleman even as Private equity underperforms [letter]

Tiger Global's Onshore fund was up 9.8% gross and 7.8% net for the fourth quarter, bringing its full-year 2019 return to 41.3% gross and 32.7% net. The Offshore fund was up 9.5% gross and 9% net for the fourth quarter, making its two-quarter return 2.5% gross and 2% net for 2019.

Tiger Global Long Opportunities Onshore was up 13.6% gross and 11% net for the fourth quarter, bringing its 2019 return to 37.3% gross and 30.1% net. Tiger Global Long Opportunities Offshore was up 13.4% gross and 11.4% net, bringing its two-quarter return to 3.1% gross and 3.5% net for 2019.
