Carlson Capital, the Dallas, Texas-based hedge fund, recorded a notable decline for its Double Black Diamond fund in August.

The fund declined 1.26% in August, resulting in a year-to-date return of 0.26%, both net of fees, according to a copy of its latest monthly investor update, which Hedge Fund Alpha has been able to review.
