Bowmoor Capital gained 1.54% for July, bringing its year-to-date return to -3.58%. According to the fund’s July update, its stock, interest rate, metals and livestock positions drove its monthly returns.

Bowmoor Capital is a London-based global macro quantitative fund that utilizes a trend-following strategy and targets lower downside risk and aims to offer equitable fees and increased liquidity. Bowmoor Capital’s flagship investment strategy is Global Alpha, a long/ short, systematic, quantitative strategy that targets returns from price trends in global markets.

The fund won The Hedge Fund Journal’s CTA and Discretionary Trader award in 2023 and 2024.
