The fund's average net exposure during the quarter was 73%, helping it outperform the S&P 500, which declined 16.1% during the quarter, and the Russell 2000, which declined 17.2%.
For the year to the end of June, the fund is down at 19.5% on a net basis, slightly outperforming the S&P 500's loss of 19.9% and the Russell 2000s loss of 23.4%. Since its inception in April 2018, the fund has produced a gross return of 505% with a net return of 330%, compared to 54.5% for the S&P 500 and 17.9% for the Russell 2000 on a cumulative basis.
