Value as an investment style has been around for decades, and if executed correctly, there’s a wealth of research out there which shows that a value portfolio can outperform the market over the long-term.
However, as any seasoned value investor will tell you, correctly executing a deep value strategy is not as easy as it first appears. There’s much more to the strategy than simply buying the market’s cheapest stocks.
