He specialized in finding undervalued growth stocks and holding these companies as they matured. The investor was always on the move, traveling the world for the next great opportunity, and liked to invest in things that he knew and could understand.
In an article published at the beginning of 1993, Lynch proclaimed that the biggest challenge the average investor has to deal with is competing against, what he called, the "Thundering Herd."
