James Boucherat and David LaSalle of Pacific View Asset Management Highlight Two Micro-Cap Value Plays

There are few micro-cap fund managers that can match the caliber of James Boucherat and David LaSalle of Pacific View Asset Management.

Their strategy is simple: find self-funding companies trading at an EV/EBITDA ratio of less than 4.5 with the potential to grow operating income by at least 20% per annum for the next three years.

By using this strategy, the micro-cap value fund Boucherat and LaSalle co-manage for Pacific View has earned a net annualized 9.1%, vs. 3.8% for the Russell Microcap Value Index.

In the October 30 issue of Value Investor Insight, Boucherat, and LaSalle highlight two stocks they believe are undervalued at present, but are due a significant re-rating.
