Passive is taking over the world and Jeff Bezos and Jack Bogle will jointly rule the world , right? Yes, but there is one big exception - Latin America Active Funds are still beating their pears.

The reason why passive funds have become so popular among investors is because they achieve better results than the vast majority of active managers at a fraction of cost. Even if a US focused active mutual fund achieves the same return as the market, it’s likely higher fees will swing the pendulum in the passive fund’s favor.
