Warren Buffett is widely regarded as one of the best investors of all time, but that does not mean he has not made his fair share of mistakes.
The Oracle of Omaha has made a series of very expensive mistakes throughout his career, which have cost the shareholders of Berkshire Hathaway (of which he is the largest) hundreds of billions of dollars.
Generally, these mistakes are errors of omission, where Buffett has failed to act when he should have done. With the benefit of hindsight, it's quite easy to pick out these errors, although they would not have been as clear at the time.
