Dov Gertzulin's DG Value hedge fund ended 2019 on a high note. DG Value Partners added 2.5% in December and finished the year up 6.9%.

Following this performance, the $250 million strategy has produced an annualized return for investors of 7% since inception, with a standard deviation of 11.5% and a Sharpe ratio of 0.5%.

DG Value runs two different versions of its value strategy. Alongside the larger flagship fund, Gertzulin also manages a concentrated class. This strategy, which has around $40 million of assets under management as of the end of 2019, aims to achieve 20% gross annualized returns by investing in a concentrated version of the broader DG Value portfolio....
