Chilton REIT: Adding To REITs On Weakness

Chilton Capital's REIT Strategy returned -3% in the month of October, according to investor correspondence ValueWalk has been able to review. Following this performance, the strategy is down -10.9% for the year to the end of October.

Despite this performance, the REIT strategy has achieved a strong run since 2009. In the firm's latest investor update, the fund managers noted that in the last REIT cycle, which began in March 2009, the sector achieved a return of 13.7% from trough to trough.
