Between 1984 and 2011, Charlie Munger, the vice-chairman of Berkshire Hathaway and Warren Buffett's business partner, served as CEO and Chairman of Wesco Financial, and the company's AGMs became one of the must-attend events on the calendar for value investors.
Munger ran Wesco as a mini Berkshire, although it did have a different strategic focus to the larger group.
