Catching Up with Will Nasgovitz of Heartland Advisors: He Likes Trucking and AI Power Demand Now [In-Depth]

Heartland Advisors put up some solid gains across its three funds in July, with its Mid Cap Value fund gaining 5.95%, its Value Plus Fund up 9.36%, and its Value fund rising 10.63%. Meanwhile, the Russell Midcap Value Fund returned 6.04% for the month, while the Russell 2000 Value Index gained 12.19%.

Year to date, Heartland's Mid Cap Value Fund is up 7.33%, while its Value Plus Fund has gained 2.86%. The firm's Value Fund is up 14.27% year to date. Meanwhile, the Russell Midcap Value Index has gained 10.86% year to date, while the Russell 2000 Value index has returned 11.23%.
