Boaz Weinstein wins with closed-end funds trading at discount to NAV: Here are his favorite ones [Exclusive]

Saba Capital has been picking up closed-end funds at some deep discounts. In a recent presentation, Boaz Weinstein's $1.9 billion fund highlighted just one of the three main strategies it follows. Saba has been investing in closed-end funds since October 2015 and has $620 million in assets under management in the strategy.

In the presentation seen by ValueWalk, Saba management said the average discount closed-end funds are trading at right now is 2.2%. However, the fund has been picking up such funds at an average discount of 9% on recent purchases.
