Hedge fund performance... What is perhaps most obvious about Bloomberg’s list of top performing hedge funds is the lack of long-only performers on the list. But more specifically, the type of strategies that succeeded in a challenging environment for stock investing.

With the S&P 500 down a fraction of a percent in 2015, it might come as no surprise that the list of top performing hedge funds included multiple strategy types, with long / short, quantitative and market neutral strategies turning in top performances.
