The investing world as a whole is going through a lot of changes. The best way to go through these processes is to connect and discuss current and future trends and share insight and knowledge with top investors.  We made a list of all notable hedge fund conferences and meetings from all around the world, with a short brief of what you can expect from them. This list is biased towards American conferences, but we include notable events from around the world.

If we missed anyone we apologize due to a massive influx of information that is sometimes difficult to process, but do email us info@hedgefundalpha.com for consideration. Please note we do not accept compensation to be listed, the list is entirely merit based, however, its certainly possible we missed some great events.

We have a well-developed practice of following most of these hedge fund conferences. First, we want our readers to have all the current information firsthand, and for us, since we share the passion for learning only relevant and usable information.  To see all our coverage of these hedge fund conferences please click here, and sign up for our free newsletter to see when new events take place.

Alternative Investment Conference, Chapel Hill USA, March 21, 2024

On the panels, some of the key topics will be:

  • The volatile macro backdrop for private assets in recent years. How will disrupted supply chains, surgeon inflation, valuation swings, and liquidity constraints take their toll on investors
  • The middle market, and its fragmentation, lack of institutional capital backing, and less access to debt. These factors played a major role in entering this market. The panelists will discuss the balance between the advantages of investing in it with its risks like customer concentration, less-developed management teams, and exogenous shocks.
  • The major inflow of individual investors in this traditional institutional investor ground and its impact. Since the market access is democratized, what are the educational, regulatory, and technology considerations for participants?
