Many well-known hedge fund managers give money to charity, and some even donate through their own charities. Among them is Sir Christopher Anthony Hohn, the British billionaire hedge fund manager, who founded the value-based hedge fund TCI Fund Management and gives most of the fund's profits to the Children's Investment Fund Foundation.

We can get an idea of the hedge fund managers he trusts the most by seeing where his foundation invests its money. According to its most recent 990, which was filed in November 2022, the Children's Investment Fund Foundation had $191.5 million at the end of 2021.
