NEW YORK, LONDON AND HONG KONG – APR. 15, 2024 — EquiLend, the global technology, data and analytics company for the securities finance industry, today announced that it has launched Orbisa securities lending data on the Bloomberg App Portal.
Orbisa, operated by EquiLend, has a dataset comprising $32 trillion of global lendable equity and fixed income securities. Bloomberg Terminal users can now subscribe to the Orbisa app to have a view into all active securities lending markets worldwide, covering a range of securities lending metrics across more than 196,000+ individual securities.
The addition of the Orbisa app to the Bloomberg App Portal offers simplified access for buy- and sell-side market participants to real-time data on the $2 trillion global securities lending market. Metrics available include financing rates, borrow demand, short interest indicator, availability, liquidity and “hotness” measurements and dozens more securities lending metrics that provide insights into the securities that make up institutional investors’ portfolios.
