At the Morningstar Investment Conference on Thursday, Matthew Hougan of Bitwise, Tyrone Ross, Jr. of Onramp Invest and Annemarie Tierney of Liquid Advisors joined Morningstar's Ben Johnson to talk about portfolio allocations to cryptocurrencies.

One of the first topics was education. Hougan noted that cryptocurrencies are liquid and accessible assets. In fact, he argued that they are the most accessible liquid asset alternative. However, he also said it's important to learn about it and understand it before doing anything.
