College Might Not Be Worth What You're Paying For It

Is college worth the cost? It is a question many students, potential students and lawmakers are currently debating. Now one bank has put together an analysis and says do not do it. College might not be worth what you're paying for it; that's according to research put together by Goldman Sachs.

According to the bank, the average return on going to college is falling. The break even on the cost of college has grown from 8 years in 2010 to 9 years today based on the figures for a typical student. If current trends continue, by 2030, it will take 11 years to break even on a college investment. But, as Goldman is quick to point out, these figures are based on averages....
