Glen Kacher's Light Street Capital is a technology investment firm with its headquarters in Silicon Valley. The firm focuses on both public and private equities in the tech and media sectors. Of course, Howard Marks needs little introduction, and his Oaktree Capital Management is the world's biggest investor in distressed securities. Marks focuses on risk management.
Jeff Osher's No Street Capital manages the Harvest Small Cap Partners fund, which follows a long/ short equity strategy. BlackRock's Jeff Shen is co-chief investment officer of BlackRock Active Equities and Co-Head of the Systematic Active Equity platform. He is also Head of Emerging Markets and on BlackRock's Global Operating Committee.
Gil Simon's SoMa Equity Partners follows a long/ short equity strategy and focuses on the technology, media and telecommunications strategy. The Wisconsin Investment Board manages the Wisconsin Retirement System, which is the state's public pension system. The pension system manages about $117 billion in assets for more than 620,000 current and former public employees.
