Karen Karniol Tambour from Bridgewater Associates addressed the current global issues like surging inflation, investing in gold, and the recession in Europe at the 2024 Sohn New York Conference.
Regarding the United States, she downplayed the impact of inflation. The goal is to achieve strong growth, and then the equities will rise. Inflation is no longer a dominant limiting factor, but it is still important. But, at the moment, Bridgewater's thoughts are on creating growth.
