Invest for Kids: Bull Thesis for Verona Pharma

Fall is conference season in the world of investing, and there are always so many to choose from. One of the more prominent conferences is Invest for Kids, which raises money for non-profit organizations that serve Chicago-area youth from disadvantaged communities.

Peter Kolchinsky of RA Capital was one of those who presented an investment idea at this year's conference. He shared his bull thesis for a biotechnology company working on a treatment for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). He noted that chronic respiratory illnesses like COPD are the third-leading cause of death globally.
