At the Invest For Kids 2025 conference, Brett Barakett, Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tremblant Capital, delivered a presentation focusing on a two-pronged strategy for maximizing returns in public equities. Barakett, who is also the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of the NYSE-listed Tremblant Global ETF (TOGA), argued that investment managers must maximize both Tax Alpha through structurally superior ETF vehicles and Investment Alpha via focused, high-conviction stock picking. This combination, he asserts, creates superior output over time. Tremblant Capital, founded in 2001, is a global alternative asset management firm focused on public equity investments and has frequently been recognized among the top 100 best performing and largest hedge funds.
