As the years have gone on, more and more institutional investors have become interested in cryptocurrency, but more must be done. At the Greenwich Economic Forum, Genesis CEO Michael Moro and Hunting Hill Global founder Adam Guren talked about the institutionalization of cryptocurrency.

How far the industry has come

Moro believes the reason they were talking about the institutionalization of cryptocurrency is because of how far the industry had to come from nothing in 2012 and 2013 to where it is today. Years ago, the only services that were available were the "on ramp and off ramp," or the buying and selling of cryptocurrency.
