The Capstone Student Investment Conference – to be held next on March 7, 2026 on The University of Alabama’s campus – is the preeminent investment conference in the U.S. for professionals and students and a tremendous educational and networking opportunity for investors of all ages. It is also a great place to pick up an excellent stock idea or two: A portfolio of all the stocks that speakers highlighted at last year's event, using market closing prices on the day before the event, has increased a s48.1% since then, vs. a 15.6% increase in the S&P 500! Leading the pack were Django Davidson's recommended basket of platinum stocks, Arvind Sanger's Peabody Energy pick and three ideas (Brink's, Altria, and Blue Bird) from Steve Schurr.
CSIC brings together investors from around the country to learn from and interact with the distinguished panel of speakers listed below.
Editor's note: See our coverage from last year, which featured Stephen Schurr (who is so phenomenal he was recently poached by Millennium Management for $100 million) and many other top investors. This article is one of the most popular articles of the year and will be featuring in-depth what Schur pitches this year. So if you can't make it to the conference, make sure to check back for in-depth coverage of Schur and all the other great investors who will be speaking.
