At the 2025 Sohn London Conference, Priya Kodeeswaran, CFA, Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Katamaran Capital LLP, presented a short idea on a US consumer application company. Katamaran is a London-based hedge fund launched in 2024 with over $450 million in assets under management, a catalyst driven global long/short equity strategy, with a focus on idiosyncratic alpha driven by change and innovation. The strategy has an emphasis on strong downside protection, low correlation to broad equity markets and alpha generation from both long and short books.
Kodeeswaran previously held senior portfolio manager roles at large hedge funds, including Millennium Group and Man GLG. Katamaran uses data, systems, and AI tools for research and market timing.
