At the 2025 Sohn London Conference, Priya Kodeeswaran, CFA, Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Katamaran Capital LLP, presented a short idea on a US consumer application company. Katamaran is a London-based hedge fund launched in 2024 with over $300 million in assets under management, employing a global long-short equity strategy focused primarily on the technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) sectors.
Kodeeswaran previously held senior portfolio manager roles at large hedge funds, including Millennium Group and Man GLG. Katamaran uses data, systems, and AI tools for research and market timing.
