Igor Kryca, the Founder and CIO of Lombardi Capital, presented an investment idea in the global transportation and industrial systems sector at the 2025 Sohn London Conference. Kryca, who is originally from Poland and serves as the CIO of Lombardi Capital, has been investing since 2000 and focuses on finding undervalued durable assets undergoing transformation.

Kryca was first brought into Soros Management by Scott Bessent and later worked at firms including AKO Capital, Renaissance Technology, and here in the capital. A significant career highlight includes setting up a European portfolio business for Bessent, which he grew from an initial seed of about $250 million to over $2 billion. Kryca now leads a team of five analysts managing $575 million at Lombardi Capital.
