Two significant trends have developed over the last few years, and one fund manager is finding ways to tap into the opportunities presented by those trends. At the 2022 Invest for Kids Conference, Jacob Rubin of Philosophy Capital Management highlighted two opposing forces within the energy industry.

Two Forces That Don’t Get Along

Energy use is skyrocketing, and many experts predict it will be 50% higher by 2050. However, Rubin believes that the way the world generates the bulk of its energy is destroying the planet. He added that these opposing forces are creating some sizable mispricings in the market.
