Bridgewater Remains World’s Largest Hedge Fund As Industry Expands

Bridgewater has retained its spot at the top of the list of the world's largest hedge funds, according to the Pensions & Investments annual hedge fund special report.

A total of 109 hedge fund managers participated in the survey, reporting assets of $1.5 trillion. While this is only a small part of the overall hedge fund industry, which is estimated to have total assets of $4 trillion to $5 trillion, it does provide a good indicator of sentiment across the market.
