Benjamin Watsa, CEO, CIO, and Founder of Marval Capital Ltd., presented a rigorous framework for long-duration allocation in India during his presentation, "India - Our Journey and the Opportunity," at The Ben Graham Centre's 5th European Value Investing Conference. Marval, which manages nearly $400 million focused primarily on Indian small and mid-cap publicly listed companies, asserts that India has reached an inflection point supported by "near irreversible" structural improvements.  Watsa’s central thesis posits that the country offers a "durable runway for compounding growth over the next decade and beyond," rewarding patient investors who apply disciplined value principles in a high-growth, inefficient market.
