At the Ben Graham Centre's 2023 Value Investing Conference hosted by the Ivey Business School in April, Oaktree Capital co-founder and co-chairman Howard Marks was one of the keynote speakers. Of course, Marks is quite well-known for the memos he's been writing to Oaktree clients for more than 30 years and his books, The Most Important Thing and Mastering the Market Cycle.

The moderator, Cyrus Madon of Brookfield Private Equity Group, Brookfield Business Partners, and Brookfield Asset Management, started by asking Marks about some of his recent memos.
