In our first survey of members of our “Ask an Advisor” network, we found:
- The biggest threat to investors in 2016? Themselves: Advisors list panic-selling, thinking short-term as opposed to long-term, and investing too conservatively as some the biggest mistakes their clients are making as a result of the recent turmoil in the stock market. In a nutshell, their clients’ frame-of-mind is one of the top concerns advisors have about their financial well being and ability to cope with whatever else 2016 brings.
