When looking at the recently reported and bi-partisan celebrity abuse scandal, one issue appears consistent with Friday’s reports of a former Soros portfolio manager using his Manhattan penthouse as a sexual “dungeon.” For the first time in modern history, the de facto “super elite” status certain celebrities and finance executives are given – investigations blocked, media reports muzzled – is revealing its dark side. Those with no fear of the law or of being exposed, regardless of social status, can take advantage to brutal affect.
