Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton might need a refresher in securities law. When he was a member of the Texas House of Representatives, Paxton promoted the stock of a Texas energy company but did not disclose he was receiving commissions on soliciting an investment, the Securities and Exchange Commission charged on Monday. Paxton was active on Twitter as recently as yesterday.
