Hawk Ridge Management LLC may be a small, relatively unknown hedge fund, but that didn’t stop the fund beating the market and the majority of its peer group for the 12 months to 31 December 2015, according to a letter to investors reviewed by ValueWalk.

Hawk Ridge Management achieved a net investment return of 7.7%, vs. a decline of 4.4% for the Russell 2000 and a decline of roughly 0.8% for the HFRI Equity Hedge Index for the full year 2015.
