A recession cannot be avoided by the central banks, says hedge fund manager Crispin Odey. They can only hope that the developed world will react to cheaper commodities by spending more, he said in a recent letter to investors reviewed by ValueWalk. If this doesn’t happen, the equity markets are probably going to run into trouble.
