AIG an example of big bank controllers

To astute observers, particularly some inside the derivatives industry, the American International Group Inc (NYSE:AIG) struggle is an example of big bank controllers and their operatives inside government solidifying a monopoly. The fight has significance in that there were clear winners and losers. The documented winners were those considered in the elite ruling camp, with considerable influence over the U.S. Federal Reserve, certain regulators and even the U.S. Justice Department.  This group gained significant solidifying monopoly control and demonstrated the complicit backing of the U.S. government.
