Marvin Davidson and Thomas Kempner are the founders of a hedge fund giant Davidson Kempner Capital Management. The fund was founded in 1983, while Davidson initiated his foundation in 1967. Davidson sadly passed away in 2023, however, his foundation is still active. Kempner started his foundation in 1987.
