The annual Sohn Hong Kong conference is essentially a must-attend for any investors with a particular interest in Asian investments, and 2024 was no different. The event brought some very interesting investing ideas from across Asia, including in some presentations from new or emerging hedge-fund managers.

Wendy Chen, founder of Sigmoid Capital, was among this year's Next Wave emerging managers. Sigmoid Capital is a pan-Asia long/ short equity hedge fund launched in New York last year.
