According to its 990-PF for 2023, which was filed in November 2024, the Ricky Sandler Family Foundation had $4.5 million in assets at the end of the year. Ricky Sandler himself donated over $2 million in cash to the foundation in 2023, accounting for all of its contributions that year.
In an unusual situation, he serves as president, secretary, treasurer and board member for the organization, spending an average of 10 hours a week in those positions with zero compensation.
