Odey Asset Management Responds To Sexual Harassment Allegations Against Crispin Odey

The hedge fund industry was rocked this week by shocking allegations lodged against Crispin Odey, initially reported by the Financial Times. Odey Asset Management is now under investigation after 13 women accused Odey of sexual assault, harassment and creating a toxic work environment.

Odey Responds To Allegations

Odey Asset Management has now issued a letter addressing those allegations. CEO Peter Martin said in a letter dated June 8 that they could not comment "in detail" on the allegations due to legal reasons, except to say that the firm's lawyers are looking into them.
