Nick Train on What’s Wrong with the U.K. Equity Market and How He Picks the Best U.K. Stocks

At the Quality-Growth Investor Conference in London on Tuesday, Lindsell Train co-founder Nick Train made the case for U.K. equities, which have underperformed major markets since 2000. However, he also emphasized that his contention was not that the U.K. equity market was about to end its dismal run of relative underperformance.

Instead, Train wanted to talk about what's gone wrong for U.K. equities and whether there are lessons to be learned for investors and companies. Additionally, he wanted to allow himself a bit of "positivity" because some global stock pickers have already identified some global winners...
