Perhaps one of the more significant opportunities in financial services is targeting women, said Sallie Krawcheck, chair of the Ellevate Network, a global professional woman’s network.

Sallie Krawcheck could be a benchmark for the era of changing gender roles. In her public speech at Thursday’s Morningstar conference in Chicago she addressed the gender-based business opportunity for financial advisors, touched on her career in an honest fashion. Then in a press briefing afterward discussed issues of doing the right thing in a corporate setting and the true value of diversity to a much deeper level.
