Gallatin Capital has severed ties with a broker who’s been posting videos of himself harassing people on the street. FINRA records show Ramsey Elias Aburdene was a broker associated with Gallatin Capital (but not employed by the firm) -- until June 17, 2025. He’s now listed as a previously registered broker. Gallatin is a prominent investment firm with over $5 billion in AUM. It is possible that Aburdene merely had his registration "parked" at the firm.

Aburdene, who uses the handle Abu Rahss on social media, has made quite a name for himself. Founder of the anti-Semitic media outlet Palestine News Network (PNN), Aburdene has shared numerous videos on social media in which he walks up to people, often Jews, and demands to know their stance on Palestine and berates and curses them if they do not agree with him.

PNN apparently supports terrorism and violence against Israel, having shared various content that celebrates the October 7 terror attacks, the deaths of Israelis, and news of other attacks in Israel. The organization also shares content that expresses support for Hamas and other terrorist groups, alongside dictators like former Syrian leader Bashar al Assad. See more of his problematic behavior which could violate firm and FINRA regulations.

Ramsey Elias Aburdene - Financial Role/s

According to Aburdene’s LinkedIn profile, he’s still a portfolio manager with the investment firm Rock Creek Corporation, his father’s firm, which is based in Washington D.C. He has been with the firm since 2014.

According to his filing with FINRA, Ramsey describes his job as the following "My position is the portfolio manager of the investment portfolio which includes trading/managing the public securities portfolio, monitoring real estate investments, reviewing new opportunities, and monitoring closely-held investments. I have been employed at Rock Creek Corporation since July 2014, and I devote approximately 1,500 - 2,000 hours annually, about half of which is during securities holding hours."

We reached out to Gallatin Capital, and the firm had no comment except to confirm that Aburdene was associated with the firm between November 2016 and June 2025. Gallatin emphasized that he was never an employee.
