Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg challenged the ideas of Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump Tuesday, but is he taking a risk in coming out politically? Frequently, corporations avoid getting into controversial movements or overtly supporting one major political candidate over another. Taking political sides, on a statistical basis, is likely to alienate nearly 50% of the population. But Zuckerberg ignored these rules of conduct when he gave an “impassioned” speech in which he referenced Trump’s controversial position on immigration.
