When three disastrous hurricanes hit last year, devastation from storms such as Harvey, Irma and Maria was profound. Not only were lives lost, but at an estimated cost of $202.6 billion, they were the most expensive in US history. But that costly event, which to this day has left much of Puerto Rico without power, might not be a one-off event. The devastation could occur in 2018, forecasters say. Will the Caribbean region be ready this time?
