Kernow Asset Management has gained 52.9% since its inception in November 2019 through August following an August return of 2.3%. Over the same time frame, the FTSE All Share Index has returned 35.8%, while the FTSE 250 is up 19.8%. The FTSE 100 has gained 38.2%, and the FTSE Aim All Share is off 7.3%.

As of August, the hedge fund's top five long positions were Galliford Try Holdings, Metro Bank Holdings, Frasers Group, Hiscox and CMC Markets, according to an investor presentation.
