John Armitage Outlines Theses for These Stocks [In-Depth Exclusive]

John Armitage’s Schroder Egerton Equity Fund gained 20.4% net in 2024 following a challenging fourth quarter with returns of -0.8% for October, 4.2% for November, and -2.1% for December. The MSCI World Net Total Return Index returned 21% for 2024, while the ESTR + 1% gained 4.6% for the full year.

At the end of 2024, Armitage’s fund had $551.1 million in assets under management. The fund’s gross exposures were 94.1% on the long side and -21.5% on the short side, for a net exposure of 72.5%.
